Arunangshu M Lahiri (59) began his career in 1975
in the advertising industry. Over the next 10 years, he
was chief
executive at 3 ad agencies.
After a grounding in
Marketing Management from Indian
Institute of Management, Kolkata in 1985, Sri Lahiri was
involved in the emerging new marketing system -
franchising. Over the next few years, he was involved in
ideating, marketing and implementing several all-India
franchise businesses.
Recognising the shift in stock market scenario (Sri
Lahiri had been an investor since 1976) he joined the erstwhile UTI Institute of Capital
Markets to learn the intricacies of Technical Trend
Analysis in 1994 at the time when the FIIs were entering in to India with technologies and strategies for stock market trading
that very few Indian trader knew anything
about. Sri Lahiri was among the first few persons to be trained on the
computerised operations of the stock market also.

This was in 1994, a couple of months before India's first
wholly computerised stock exchange, National Stock
Exchange (NSE), began operation.
Sri Lahiri had his stint as dealer at the BSE after it was also computerised a few months later.
Over the years, Sri Lahiri had been associated with the
Shriram Investments group as franchisee in eastern
India; as well as in handling marketing related
activities of Kotakstreet.com, India Infoline's
5Paisa.com, Equitymaster.com etc.
Taking a break from stock markets analysis and trading in
1996, Sri Lahiri had a stint as
Director in Mumbai based an ad
agency and also as vice president at a start-up Internet
business firm.
Since 2001, Sri Lahiri has been totally involved in intraday
trading both as a researcher and a trader. The first
intraday trading system with 10 Buy/Sell signals was
devised by Sri Lahiri in 2003 based on a software. Over the next 2
years, the system - which Sri Lahiri claimed to be 75%
accurate - was modified through extensive research to
gain up to 100% accuracy. The new trading system was

Now primarily based in Bangalore, Sri Lahiri has over
1500 students and clients all across the country;
holding periodical training sessions for his PRISM
system at several cities and towns on invitation. He
also provide a unique daily five hours long intraday
